You may be sick and tired of having acne since you became a teenager. You have tried almost every new over-the-counter acne product and you found that none of it would work for you. You turn to beauticians who promised good skin, but there are still no better solutions. It can be quite distressing, and at the same time, you may burn a hole in your pocket.
I’ve tried many such products and I finally solved the acne problems when I went on antibiotic treatment with my dermatologist. I was on acne medication for a few years when I was a teenager, and had creams to put on my face. I also had body acne, and my back was quite bad. The doctor told me that it would get worse before it got better. True enough, the acne in my face surfaced and I was a sorry sight. However, things got better and my skin improved after that.
What you can do is to go to a skin centre or skin clinic to see a dermatologist. Some family doctors or general practitioners may have such medicine available. Of course, you may feel a little cautious especially since you are spending more money to get your acne treated.
There are two problems of acne. One is a surface problem, while the other is under the skin. Washes and pills are for different problems, and you may have been using the wrong method to treat acne.
Acne products from pharmacies treat acne problems from the outside. If these products do not work for you, it is most likely that your acne is caused by your body from the inside. Acne antibiotic treatment will solve the problem from internal and this could be the solution you have been looking for all these while.
One way to check this is to see whether you have body acne on places where you seldom get all the grime and dust, and over zealous sebum production. One area is your back. If you have acne on your back, it is likely that it is an internal problem. If you have tried many cleansing products that do not seem to work, then an acne antibiotic treatment is something that you should be considering. Get the doctor to assess your problem. If you get started on this, you may be on your way to solving acne problem.
