Cleanse your face, followed by the toner, then finally moisturise your skin. Whether you use makeup or not, you should follow this regime. If you wear makeup, then all the more you should follow these steps.
Once you get into a good routine of washing your face, you can help to maintain your skin better. Cleansing will remove all the makeup on your face. Apart from makeup, a lot of grease and dirt is collected on the face. In addition, if you keep touching your face, it is even dirtier.
Wear a hair band, or tie your hair when you wash your hair. You do not want to have your fringe touching your skin as this may result in some makeup residue left on your face near the hairline.
As our skin near the eyes is extremely delicate, you should make sure your makeup remover is gentle enough on the skin, and you are able to remove the mascara easily. Use cotton balls or cotton buds to remove the eye shadow and mascara. Be careful not to stretch your skin as this may result in wrinkles.
If you have blackheads and other blemishes, make sure you wash your skin well. If you massage the cleansing cream into the skin, then you will reduce the amount of grease trapped in the pores of your skin. You certainly do not want an acne outbreak.
After these steps, wash it off or remove with cotton wool. Put toner on the cotton wool and dab gently over your face. This will help to remove any dirt left on your skin. At the same time, it will help to close your pores.
Finally, apply your moisturiser and other skincare products. Remember to wash your face in the morning.
