Cleansing Your Face

Cleanse your face, followed by the toner, then finally moisturise your skin. Whether you use makeup or not, you should follow this regime. If you wear makeup, then all the more you should follow these steps.

Once you get into a good routine of washing your face, you can help to maintain your skin better. Cleansing will remove all the makeup on your face. Apart from makeup, a lot of grease and dirt is collected on the face. In addition, if you keep touching your face, it is even dirtier.

Wear a hair band, or tie your hair when you wash your hair. You do not want to have your fringe touching your skin as this may result in some makeup residue left on your face near the hairline.

As our skin near the eyes is extremely delicate, you should make sure your makeup remover is gentle enough on the skin, and you are able to remove the mascara easily. Use cotton balls or cotton buds to remove the eye shadow and mascara. Be careful not to stretch your skin as this may result in wrinkles.

If you have blackheads and other blemishes, make sure you wash your skin well. If you massage the cleansing cream into the skin, then you will reduce the amount of grease trapped in the pores of your skin. You certainly do not want an acne outbreak.

After these steps, wash it off or remove with cotton wool. Put toner on the cotton wool and dab gently over your face. This will help to remove any dirt left on your skin. At the same time, it will help to close your pores.

Finally, apply your moisturiser and other skincare products. Remember to wash your face in the morning.

1. Stay out of the Sun
Wear hats, sunglasses or clothing and use high SPF for your sun block lotions. This will definitely help your skin stay healthy. A newspaper article reports that more young women are suffering from skin cancer. This could be due to sunbathing without proper sunscreen. Overexposure to sun is really bad for our skin. Don’t think you are too young to worry about the sun.

2. Drink Enough Water
We need to remain hydrated. Fluids can come from the water and other drinks, and also from food. There is no need to drink a lot, but water is still better than other drinks such as soft drinks and coffee. Our health will improve and so will our skin.

3. Use Good Moisturiser
Keep your skin moist at all times. If you are in humid countries, your long hours in the air-conditioned office may result in dry skin. If you live in dry countries, all the more you require moisturise.

4. Sleep and Exercise
Get rid of dark circles and wrinkles by sleeping early. Some eye care products use Vitamin K to help lighten the dark circles. Without enough sleep, the body cannot rejuvenate itself. Exercise will help you to feel healthier.

5. Cleanse Your Skin
Wash your face every morning and night. Make sure you remove all the makeup before you sleep. At the same time, if you have oily skin, do not wash your skin repeatedly as this will cause greater production of oil. We need to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin so that the pores will remain unblocked. You can use exfoliating gels once a week to remove the dead skin cells. After cleansing, you may want to use a toner on a cotton wool to check whether your makeup has been thoroughly removed.

6. Reduce Alcohol and Cigarettes
These two vices make us age quickly. Alcohol is extremely drying, and as for cigarettes, you know the story. You can make your choice.

7. Choose right products
Find out what type of skin you have. Sometimes, the most expensive products may not be the best. Get samples from counters and try them out. Read magazines to find out which products are useful. Some companies may have great products in certain areas, and the others may not be that great. At the same time, you do not want to use so many products that they cancel out the benefits.

Have you seen people with wrinkled skins? Right away, you may think that the complexion is not good enough anymore. So as we get older, it is imperative to maintain excellent circulation of the blood for our skin to stay healthy.

Throughout the whole body, the blood will pump more slowly as we get older. When the circulation is not as good as before, the skin will become more dehydrated, and it will not be as healthy as before.

Apart from this, the body makes fewer new cells, so replacement of cells become slower. In addition, the cells will not be as firm as before.

One way is to get regular exercise. This will definitely help us with our circulation system. When we do any resistance training, it will help to stimulate the muscles under the skin. This is just like a mild facelift. Of course, stay out of the sun or use sufficient sun block when you train, to prevent further skin damage.

With regular exercise, you will become healthier. A better flow of blood to the skin will help our skin to remain hydrated, and your wrinkles will not appear that quickly.

When we lift weights or use some of the machines in our gym, our face will tighten the muscles. This helps to make our faces firmer and give it a lift.

In addition, when we are happy and healthy, our faces will reflect that. With the right skin care products, we can look considerably younger. Hence, taking care of our skin comes from inside and outside.

Regular exercise, having good sleep, drinking sufficient water and managing your stress are some good solutions. Be positive about your fitness regimes.

Madonna swears by staying out of the sun. She’s 50 years old and she doesn’t look like it. There are many anti-aging skin care products in the market. Which one should you use? Some of the products are targeted at those in their twenties, those in their thirties, and those in the older age group. If you have been using your moisturiser for a long time, you may slowly notice that it may irritate your skin. This could be due to the changes in your skin. Our skin may improve over time, or sometimes it cannot escape from the effects of aging. If you move from one country to another, the effects may change too, depending on the humidity levels.

Many of the anti aging products are quite mild, so you do not need to worry about irritation. Some of these are targeted towards older people. The manufacturers conduct a lot of research on people in the older age group, and they know the best ways to help these people maintain good skin.

Many of these anti aging products have a high degree of natural ingredients that can help rejuvenate the skin. You will need to use them on a regular basis.

Retinoids that come from Vitamin A is the most common treatment. Many products that are found over the counter can be used as well. Retin-A is the most popular prescription medication.

How do the medications work? They remove the stickiness in the skin cell that causes the exfoliated cells to remain trapped. If you exfoliate your skin more frequently, then sebum will not be able to be built up, and bacteria will not have the opportunity to remain there.

You can get cleansing products that help you to unclog the blocked pores as it reaches the sebaceous matter. You need to find a suitable cleanser for your type of skin.

Results may not appear overnight, but if you use these cleansers on a regular basis, you should be able to get clearer skin where you are free from blemishes.

Acne affects many teenagers. Some of them will not suffer from acne when they get older, but it is not always the case.

Some adults continue to suffer from acne and it can affect their self-esteem. It is quite upsetting to live with this.

Several reasons for adult acne include stress and hormonal problems. Sometimes, medications to resolve these problems may worsen the situation

What exactly causes acne? It is when the skin pore or the hair follicle is blocked. This blockage is the result of skin cells that are exfoliated, but some parts of it still remains on the skin.

The skin cells obstruct the pores and it traps the sebum. As a result, bacteria will build up and inflammation of the skin occurs.
